All American Hops. I had a lot of things go wrong with this beer: temp control, a boil over at 60 (and 0.25 oz. Columbus to make up for all of the hops lost in the boil-over), and under-pitched the yeast. It wanted to taste good, but this hop profile just didn't work (and the other problem probably didn't help either). The grain/malt character is great, but the hops really didn't hit the mark. |
